What Are Clue Scrolls?

Clue Scrolls are treasure trail activities that send you on scavenger hunts across Gielinor. They come in five tiers: Beginner, Easy, Medium, Hard, Elite, and Master. Completing them rewards Caskets containing unique items, some worth hundreds of millions of GP.

Clue Tiers

Beginner Clues

Steps: 1-3 | Best reward: Monk Robe (t), basic cosmetics
Quick and easy. Great for new players learning the clue system.

Easy Clues

Steps: 2-4 | Best reward: Ranger Boots alternatives, trimmed armor
Farm from HAM members (pickpocketing). Fast completions.

Medium Clues

Steps: 3-5 | Best reward: Ranger Boots (~30M), Rangers Tunic
Ranger Boots are the most iconic clue reward. Farm Mediums from Falconry or Eclectic Implings.

Hard Clues

Steps: 4-6 | Best reward: 3rd Age pieces (~50-500M+), Gilded armor
Farm from Hellhounds (Slayer task) or Wilderness content. 3rd Age is the dream drop.

Elite Clues

Steps: 5-7 | Best reward: 3rd Age (~100M-1B+), Rangers Tights
Farm from bosses (Vorkath, Zulrah) or Sarachnis.

Master Clues

Steps: 6-8 | Best reward: 3rd Age Druidic (~2B+), Bloodhound pet
Combine Easy+Medium+Hard+Elite clues at Watson. The hardest clues with the rarest rewards.

Best Farming Methods

Easy: Pickpocket HAM members (fastest Easy clue source)
Medium: Open Eclectic Impling jars or Falconry
Hard: Hellhounds in Catacombs with Cannon
Elite: Vorkath, Zulrah, or any high-level boss
Master: Complete lower-tier clues and combine at Watson
