Deadman Mode

Deadman Mode is OSRS at its most intense. A PvP-focused seasonal mode where death means losing your items and XP. Deadman: Annihilation ran January-February 2026 and future seasons are expected.

Key Rules

PvP is enabled everywhere except safe zones
Death loses most items + XP in unprotected skills
Boosted XP rates (usually 5-10x)
Separate economy from main game
Tournament finals for cash prizes

Survival Tips

Rush combat stats immediately. Higher combat = survive PKers
Bank everything valuable. Never carry more than you can afford to lose
Stay in safe zones when AFK or banking
Travel in groups or during off-peak hours
Learn escape routes. Know teleport locations and safe zone paths
PK for supplies. Other players are walking loot piñatas

Rush Iban's Blast for early magic DPS
Start Slayer early for gear and supplies
Complete key quests for teleports and unlocks
