Weapon Tier List 2026

Choosing the right weapon is the single biggest DPS upgrade in OSRS. This tier list ranks every notable weapon by combat style so you know exactly what to aim for.

Melee Weapons

S Tier

Scythe of Vitur: BIS for large monsters (3-tile). 400M+. Unmatched DPS against big bosses.
Osmumtens Fang: BIS general melee. Accurate with unique double-roll mechanic. 100M+.
Ghrazi Rapier: BIS stab weapon. 120M. Best single-target melee for small monsters.

A Tier

Blade of Saeldor: Similar to Rapier but uses Crystal Shards for charges. Free with CG grind.
Abyssal Whip: 2M. Best training weapon. The melee staple.
Dragon Hunter Lance: BIS against dragons. Essential for Vorkath melee.
Inquisitors Mace: BIS crush. Great for Nightmare and specific bosses.

B Tier

Abyssal Bludgeon: Budget crush option. Good for Gargoyles.
Dragon Scimitar: Best pre-whip weapon. Monkey Madness 1 required.
Saradomin Godsword: Great spec weapon for sustain healing.

Ranged Weapons

S Tier

Twisted Bow: 1B+. BIS against high-magic bosses. Scales with enemy Magic level.
Bow of Faerdhinen (Bowfa): 140M with Crystal armor. Rivals Tbow at many bosses. Zero ammo cost.
Tumekens Shadow (technically magic): 600M. Triples magic attack and damage bonuses.

A Tier

Zaryte Crossbow: BIS crossbow for spec and Ruby bolt usage.
Toxic Blowpipe: 5M. Fast DPS for close range. Still great after nerf.
Dragon Hunter Crossbow: BIS for dragons with bolts.

B Tier

Magic Shortbow (imbued): 50K. Best budget ranged weapon.
Rune Crossbow: 10K. Budget bolt weapon.

S Tier

Tumekens Shadow: 600M. BIS everywhere magic is used.
Sanguinesti Staff: 40M. Heals you per hit. Great for sustain.

A Tier

Trident of the Swamp: 5M. Standard magic weapon for bossing.
Kodai Wand: 80M. BIS for autocast. Great for bursting Slayer.

B Tier
