OSRS Boss Tier List 2026

Not all bosses are created equal. Some are easy GP printers, others are brutal skill checks that will humble even experienced PvMers. This tier list ranks every major boss in OSRS by difficulty, profitability, and overall fun factor to help you decide where to spend your time.

S Tier: The Elite (Hardest, Most Rewarding)

The Inferno (TzKal-Zuk)

Difficulty: 10/10 | Profit: Infernal Cape (priceless BiS) | Fun: 9/10

The ultimate solo challenge. 69 waves of increasingly brutal combat. The reward is the best melee cape in the game. Every serious PvMer wants this cape.

Tombs of Amascut (Expert Mode)

Difficulty: 9/10 | Profit: 5-8M/hr | Fun: 10/10

The pinnacle of raid content. Expert invocations push ToA to its limits. Masori, Fangs, and Lightbearer drops make it the most profitable repeatable content.

Theatre of Blood (Hard Mode)

Difficulty: 9/10 | Profit: 4-6M/hr | Fun: 9/10

Six-room gauntlet featuring Verzik Vitur, one of the hardest bosses in the game. Scythe and Sang staff drops are game-changing.

A Tier: Challenging and Profitable

Chambers of Xeric

Difficulty: 7/10 | Profit: 3-5M/hr | Fun: 9/10

The OG raid. Twisted Bow dreams keep raiders coming back. Great team content with deep mechanics.

Corrupted Gauntlet

Difficulty: 8/10 | Profit: 2-3M/hr | Fun: 8/10

Zero supply cost means pure profit. Incredibly punishing but satisfying to master. Enhanced Crystal Weapon Seed is the jackpot.

Nex

Difficulty: 7/10 | Profit: 3-5M/hr | Fun: 7/10

GWD on steroids. Torva armor drops are among the most valuable in the game. Team coordination is key.

Phosanis Nightmare

Difficulty: 8/10 | Profit: 2-4M/hr | Fun: 7/10

Solo Nightmare variant. Extremely punishing mechanics but Parasitic Egg and Inquisitors drops are worth millions.

B Tier: Solid Mid-Game Content

Vorkath

Difficulty: 5/10 | Profit: 3.5-4.5M/hr | Fun: 7/10

The most consistent money maker in the game. Predictable mechanics, excellent GP/hr. The go-to for steady income.

Zulrah

Difficulty: 6/10 | Profit: 2.5-3.5M/hr | Fun: 7/10

Pattern-based boss with four rotations to learn. Once mastered its a money printer. Great for learning gear switching.

DT2 Bosses (Vardorvis, Duke, Whisperer, Leviathan)

Difficulty: 6-7/10 | Profit: 2-4M/hr | Fun: 8/10

Four unique bosses each with distinct mechanics. Ring drops (Ultor, Venator, Magus, Bellator) are extremely valuable. Great variety.

Phantom Muspah

Difficulty: 5/10 | Profit: 2-3M/hr | Fun: 7/10

Interesting freeze/ranged mechanics. Ancient essence and Venator Shard provide solid income.

C Tier: Accessible and Fun

General Graardor (Bandos)

Difficulty: 4/10 | Profit: 1-2M/hr | Fun: 6/10

Classic GWD boss. Bandos armor drops are always valuable. Great intro to GWD mechanics.

Commander Zilyana (Sara)

Difficulty: 4/10 | Profit: 800K-1.5M/hr | Fun: 5/10

ACB and Sara Sword drops. The kiting mechanics can be annoying but its a rite of passage.

Dagannoth Kings

Difficulty: 4/10 | Profit: 1-2.5M/hr | Fun: 7/10

Three bosses, three combat styles. Ring drops are valuable and its great practice for multi-style combat.

Barrows

Difficulty: 2/10 | Profit: 1-1.5M/hr | Fun: 6/10

THE beginner boss. Easy, consistent, and Barrows armor is always in demand. Perfect first boss for new PvMers.

D Tier: Entry Level

Giant Mole

Difficulty: 1/10 | Profit: 500K-1M/hr | Fun: 4/10

Hit it until it digs away, find it again, repeat. Simple but boring. Good pet though (Baby Mole).

Sarachnis

Difficulty: 2/10 | Profit: 600K-1.2M/hr | Fun: 5/10

Designed as a learning boss. Teaches prayer switching without punishing mistakes too hard.

Deranged Archaeologist / Crazy Archaeologist

Difficulty: 1/10 | Profit: 200-500K/hr | Fun: 3/10

Wilderness bosses with low requirements. Mainly farmed for clue scrolls and pet chances.
