Inferno Prep Guide for OSRS
The Inferno is one of the hardest PvM challenges in Old School RuneScape. If you are planning to go for the cape, preparation matters a lot more than raw confidence. A clean setup, solid inventory management, and knowing what to expect will save you a ton of deaths.
What to bring
Best-in-slot ranged gear you can realistically afford
Prayer gear and enough supplies to stay comfortable
High-healing food for learning attempts
Runes or weapons for the parts of the run where you need utility
Core things to practice
Prayer switching under pressure
Tile movement and safe positioning
Wave awareness so you do not panic when spawns stack badly
Zuk mechanics, especially keeping calm when things get messy
Common mistakes
Starting too early without enough practice on harder waves
Bringing a messy inventory and running out of space
Chasing damage when survival would be the smarter play
Tilting after one bad attempt and rushing the next run
Final prep tip
If you want a smoother Inferno run, go in with a plan for every phase instead of trying to improvise everything live. The players who win are usually the ones who stay calm and keep their setup simple.
If you need help with Inferno completion, MyPvM has Inferno and Infernal Cape services available.
