Pets are the most prestigious cosmetic items in OSRS. They follow you around and show everyone what content you have grinded. Some are common, others are absurdly rare. This guide ranks every pet and tells you which ones are worth chasing.

S Tier: Rarest and Most Prestigious

Jal-nib-rek (Inferno pet): 1/100 from TzKal-Zuk. Shows you completed the Inferno. The ultimate flex.
Lil Zik (ToB pet): 1/650 from Theatre of Blood. Proves you are a serious raider.
Tumekens Guardian (ToA pet): Scales with invocation level. Harder invocati chance.
Nexling (Nex pet): 1/500 from Nex. Rare and prestigious.
Bloodhound (Master Clue pet): 1/1000 from Master Caskets. Extremely rare. Requires massive clue grinding.

A Tier: Impressive Grinds

Olmlet (CoX pet): 1/53 from unique + 1/3 metamorphic chance. Raid pet.
Sraracha (Sarachnis): 1/3000. Cool spider pet.
Phoenix (Wintertodt): 1/5000 from crates. Beautiful fire bird.
Vorki (Vorkath): 1/3000. Popular money-making pet.
Snakeling (Zulrah): 1/3000. Classic boss pet.

B Tier: Fun Pets

Baby Mole (Giant Mole): 1/3000. Adorable and easy boss.
Prince Black Dragon (KBD): 1/3000. Classic dragon pet.
Noon/Midnight (Grotesque Guardians): 1/3000. Unique gargoyle pet.
Smolcano (Zalcano): 1/2250. Skilling boss pet.

Skilling Pets

Every skill has a pet obtainable through training:

Beaver (Woodcutting): ~1/70K per action
Heron (Fishing): ~1/80K-250K per action
Rock Golem (Mining): ~1/40K-250K per action
Rift Guardian (Runecrafting): ~1/1M per XP drop
Tangleroot (Farming): ~1/5K per harvest (rarest skilling pet)

Tips for Pet Hunting

Pets are random. You can get one on your first kill or never. It is pure RNG.
Higher KC does not increase chance per kill. Every kill has the same drop rate.
Insure your pets at Probita in Ardougne for 500K. If you die, you can reclaim insured pets.
Collection Log tracks your pets. Check your log to see which you have obtained.
