Ring Progression Guide
Rings are often overlooked but provide significant DPS bonuses. The right ring can increase your damage by 5-10%. Here is the complete ring progression from budget to BIS.
Budget Rings (Under 5M)
- Berserker Ring (i): +8 Melee Strength (imbued). THE first ring upgrade for any account. 3M + NMZ imbue.
- Archers Ring (i): +8 Ranged Accuracy. Essential for Ranged. 5M + NMZ imbue.
- Seers Ring (i): +8 Magic Accuracy. Good for Magic. 2M + NMZ imbue.
- Ring of Suffering (i): +20 Defence bonuses + absorbs Recoil charges. Best for tanking. 15M.
DT2 Rings (30-80M Each)
- Ultor Ring: +12 Melee Strength. BIS melee ring. From Vardorvis. ~50M.
- Venator Ring: +12 Ranged Accuracy + 2% Ranged DPS. BIS ranged. From Leviathan. ~50M.
- Magus Ring: +15 Magic Accuracy + 2% Magic DPS. BIS magic. From Duke Sucellus. ~40M.
- Bellator Ring: +12 Melee Strength + spec effect. From The Whisperer. ~80M.
Upgrade Priority
- Berserker Ring (i) — first ring for any account. Cheap and effective.
- Archers Ring (i) — if you boss with Ranged primarily
- Ring of Suffering (i) — for learning bosses (Defence bonus reduces damage taken)
- Ultor Ring — when you can afford the DT2 upgrade. Huge melee DPS increase
- Venator Ring — best Ranged ring for bossing
- Magus Ring — best Magic ring
Imbuing
Regular DK rings should ALWAYS be imbued. Imbuing doubles their stats. Imbue at NMZ (650K points) or Soul Wars (260 Zeal). Never use an unimbued ring.
