Corporeal Beast

The Corporeal Beast (Corp) is one of the oldest and tankiest bosses in OSRS. It drops the iconic Spirit Shields — Elysian (~700M), Arcane (~100M), and Spectral (~30M) — making it one of the most rewarding bosses to farm when you get lucky.

Requirements

Quest: Summer's End (for Corp cave access)
Stats: 90+ melee, 70+ Magic (for spec weapon)
Spec weapons: Dragon Warhammer + Bandos Godsword (both essential)

The Spec Reduction Method

Corp has extremely high stats. The meta is to reduce its Defence and Magic before fighting:

Enter Corp's lair, hit with DWH specs (drains 30% Defence per hit)
Teleport out, restore spec at POH pool
Return and BGS spec for additional Defence drain
Repeat until Corp's stats are minimal
Finally, fight Corp with melee until dead

Solo kills take 15-20 minutes of spec reduction. Teams of 3-5 are much faster.

Gear Setup

Melee: Bandos/Torva, Zamorakian Spear or Dragon Hunter Lance (only stab weapons work at full effectiveness)
Spec: DWH + BGS (switch between)
Shield: Arcane or DFS
Supplies: Super Combats, Brews, Restores

Elysian Sigil: ~700M (Elysian Spirit Shield — best defensive shield)
Arcane Sigil: ~100M (Arcane Spirit Shield — best magic shield)
Spectral Sigil: ~30M (Spectral Spirit Shield — useful at Cerberus)
Holy Elixir: ~1M (needed to make Spirit Shields)
Pet (Corp puppy): 1/5000
