RuneScape Dragonwilds Lands on PS5 This Year (Free With PS Plus Extra)
Jagex just confirmed RuneScape: Dragonwilds is coming to PlayStation 5 later this year, dropping alongside its 1.0 update. Yes, an actual RuneScape game on console. Pinch yourself.

🐉 What Is Dragonwilds Anyway?
If you skipped the early access run on Steam back in 2025, quick rundown. You're an adventurer washed up on Ashenfall, a long-forgotten continent at the edge of Gielinor. You survived a scrap with a Dragon General (lucky you). Now you've got to gather resources, craft gear, build shelter and level up. Solo or with up to 3 friends in co-op.
Thirteen skills, level cap of 99 (sound familiar?), magical Skill Spells, dragon hunting, and quests dripping in the lore RuneScape players already know. It's RuneScape, just with a survival crafting filter on top.
🎮 Why This Matters For OSRS Players
For OSRS sweats, this isn't replacing the grind. Dragonwilds is a different beast, more like a chill survival sandbox with the Gielinor flavour. But it's the first time a RuneScape game has hit console, and that's a big swing from Jagex. More RuneScape players in the ecosystem usually means more attention on OSRS too.
