OSRS 2026 Roadmap: Blood Moon June 30, Raid in Autumn, Full Dates Inside
Jagex published the full 2026 OSRS roadmap during their Summer Campfire on May 29. Some hard dates, some "Summer/Autumn" tags, and a few "Throughout 2026" rolling projects. Here is the whole list with what each one actually means.
📅 Hard Dates You Can Mark
Deadman All Stars Season 3 Finale (June 20): live in person event at the Rosemont Theatre in Chicago. 30 creators, 6 teams, custom PvP servers. Stream is on twitch.tv/oldschoolrs if you cannot fly out.
Blood Moon Rises (June 30): the Myreque finale, Grandmaster tier. Opens Vampyrium with the Maggot King boss, Necklace of Rupture, Crimson Kisten and Seeker Arrows.
RuneFest 2026 (October 3-4): 6,000 attendees, two grand stages, 25th anniversary of RuneScape. Skill chips, RuneFest quests with their own hiscores, exclusive goodie bags.
☀️ Summer 2026
Summer Sweep Up II: the sequel to last year's project. Hunter rework, gear buffs for underused items, fixes to the Corrupted Gauntlet red prison and new Agility shortcuts. Full blog drops "next week."
Wyrmscraig: player designed island, 62 Sailing to access. Includes Fallen From Grace quest, a Fire Cape level repeatable boss, Mortimer the new Slayer Master, plus Golem Crafting and Goat Hunting. Lock in poll is live now.
🍂 Autumn 2026
The Fractured Archive: raid 4. Bork (with Smork), the Archive Guardian as the first encounter, more bosses to be revealed. Rewards proposal blog drops mid June.
The Graveyard: Master tier sequel to Olaf's Quest. Needs 65 Sailing, 65 Agility, 56 Woodcutting, 54 Fletching. Rewards 3 QP, 35k Agility XP, 35k Sailing XP, 15k Runecraft XP and 2 lamps. Comes with a new Agility method between levels 65-80, hybrid intensity like the Colossal Wyrm.
Bingo System: built on the foundations from Grid Master. Lets you host or join player run bingos in game. No XP boosts or rewards, just the system itself.
🔄 Rolling Throughout 2026
PvP Tutorial: Pete Kayer (working title) in Ferox Enclave. Prayer switching, gear switching, combo eating, escapes, special attacks. Risk free practice with gear provided.
RS25 Celebrations: RuneScape's 25th anniversary content scattered across the year, both in game and at RuneFest.
Client Updates: Bank Tags landing in June, Android Picture in Picture rolling out soon, Menu Entry Swapper full rework underway, New Renderer Open Beta 2 with deeper blacks and better mobile performance.
Holiday Events 2026: the usual Easter, Halloween and Christmas, plus a 13th Birthday event tied to the 25 year anniversary.
New Regional Servers: South Africa, Japan and Singapore coming "very soon." More regions being explored.
💭 What to Actually Plan Around
If you only care about hitting content on day one, the two dates that need prep are June 30 (Blood Moon) and "Autumn" (Fractured Archive). The Graveyard has stat requirements that creep up if you have not touched Sailing or Agility, so worth checking those now. Wyrmscraig needs 62 Sailing minimum but Mortimer's unlock at 100 combat and 70 Slayer is the bigger lift for most players.
