What Are Combat Achievements?
Combat Achievements (CAs) are PvM challenges that reward you for completing specific tasks at bosses across OSRS. They range from Easy (kill a boss) to Grandmaster (insane feats like speed kills and no-damage runs). Completing tiers unlocks powerful rewards.
Tier Rewards
- Easy: Ghommal Hilt 1 — teleport to bosses
- Medium: Ghommal Hilt 2 — extra Slayer points from boss tasks
- Hard: Ghommal Hilt 3 — extra boss-task-only points, ability to combine Slayer Helm with other helmets
- Elite: Ghommal Hilt 4 — ability to choose boss Slayer tasks
- Master: Ghommal Hilt 5 — double Slayer points from boss tasks
- Grandmaster: Ghommal Hilt 6 — ability to start boss Slayer tasks with 3-quantity, cosmetic cape
Best Strategy by Tier
Easy (80+ tasks)
Simply kill bosses. Most can be completed in normal gameplay. Do them as you naturally encounter bosses through Slayer and quests.
Medium (~70 tasks)
Slight challenges like killing bosses within time limits or using specific prayers. Still doable with mid-level gear.
Hard (~60 tasks)
Speed kills, mechanical challenges, and restrictions. Requires good gear and knowledge of boss mechanics. This is where most players start focusing specifically on CAs.
Elite (~40 tasks)
Tight speed kills, no-prayer fights, and complex mechanical feats. Requires near-max gear and excellent game knowledge. Some tasks require hundreds of attempts.
Master + Grandmaster
The most extreme challenges in OSRS. Solo ToB, speedrun raids, and flawless boss completions. Only the top PvMers complete these.
Tips
- Use the CA tracker in RuneLite to see incomplete tasks while at bosses
- Do CAs during Slayer tasks for efficient time usage
- Hard tier is the best value. Slayer Helm combining is incredibly useful
- Elite tier is the real goal for serious PvMers. Boss task selection is powerful
