OSRS Drops Singapore, South Africa & Japan Worlds, Plus Farming QoL You'll Actually Use
Jagex just flipped the switch on three new regional game worlds. If you live in Singapore, South Africa or Japan, your ping situation might have just gone from "why am I getting splashed every cast" to "wait, this is what the rest of the world plays like?"
The June 3rd update also brings a stack of farming quality of life changes that long-time farmers have been begging for, plus more sailing tweaks. Heads up though, there's no game update next Wednesday (June 10th) because the team is locked in for Game Jam VIII. The Leagues VI Rewards Shop will still open, no reboot needed.
🌍 New Regional Worlds Live Right Now
Three new regional clusters just dropped, each with their own little flag next to the world number so you can spot them easily.
Singapore: F2P world 660, Members 661, 662, 663, 664
South Africa: F2P world 667, Members 668
Japan: F2P world 698, Members 699, 700
Jagex said they're going to keep exploring more regions. So if you've been playing on London worlds from across the planet with 280ms ping, hold tight, your turn might be next.
🌱 Farming QoL Worth The Wait
This is the section that's going to make farmers actually open the game on tree run day. The big ones:
Tool Leprechauns get Deposit-all: Right-click the Leprechaun, dump everything in one go. No more clicking through the interface like a peasant.
Dig up healthy growing plants: Use a spade on a patch and you can clear a still-growing crop. Great for when you planted the wrong seed at 3am. Only works on multi-type patches (no mushrooms, redwoods, spirit trees, etc).
Planting XP moved: XP now drops at harvest or check-health instead of plant time. Stops the early-XP exploit on dud seeds.
Seed Box reorder: Right-click the Seed Box, hit Check, drag and drop seeds where you want them.
Herb patches show what's planted: Right-click options now tell you which herb is in there. Dead herbs still need inspecting (slap on the wrist).
Sulphurous Fertiliser is back: Saltpetre + compost. Use on vine patches in Hosidius Vinery for a 20% grape yield boost. Zamorak's grapes included.
⛵ Sailing Bounty Task Rework
If you've been grinding Sailing Bounty Tasks, the math just changed. Tasks now last roughly 5x longer, meaning you fight more creatures and run back to port less. Some examples: Pygmy Krakens went from 6 to 30 per task, Tiger Sharks 1 to 5, Albatrosses 1 to 5.
XP per task was rebalanced to match. The good news? Drop rates for Dragon Cannon Barrel, Dragon Hook, Bottled Storm and Dragon Metal Sheet all went up. Dragon Sheets and other components were also added to more bounty tables. If you're chasing the Dragon Cannon, this is the patch that actually makes the grind tolerable.
📅 What Else Is Happening
Leagues VI: Demonic Pacts Rewards Shop opens June 10 (no game update that day, just a shop opening). Game Jam VIII running that same week. Deadman All Stars Season 3 officially kicks off June 6th at 12pm UTC with 6 teams of 5 streaming on Twitch and Kick. And yes, the new Demonic Pacts and Leagues VI merch pins are up if you want to flex.
