Ranged Training

Ranged is the most important combat stat for bossing. Most end-game bosses are fought primarily with Ranged. Getting 99 quickly opens up content like Zulrah, Vorkath, and raids.

Methods

Levels 1-32: Questing + Knives

Do Shadow of the Storm, Death to the Dorgeshuun, and other quests for free Ranged XP.

Levels 32-55: Sand Crabs with MSB(i)

XP Rate: 35-50K/hr
AFK at Sand Crabs or Ammonite Crabs. Magic Shortbow (imbued) with mithril arrows. Very cheap.

Levels 55-75: Red Chinchompas (MM1 Tunnels)

XP Rate: 200-350K/hr
Stack monkeys in the MM1 tunnels and throw Red Chinchompas for AoE damage. Fast and reasonably priced.

Levels 75-99: Black Chinchompas (MM2 Tunnels)

XP Rate: 400-700K/hr
The fastest Ranged XP in the game. Maniacal Monkeys in MM2 tunnels. 15-25M cost from 75-99. Use Void Range for maximum DPS.

Budget: NMZ with MSB(i)

XP Rate: 70-100K/hr
Absorption potions + MSB(i) + Rune arrows. Semi-AFK and very cheap. Good budget alternative to chinning.

Profitable: Slayer

XP Rate: 40-70K/hr
Train Ranged on cannon-friendly Slayer tasks. Slower but makes money and trains Slayer.

Recommended Path

1-55: Quest XP + Sand Crabs
55-75: Red Chins MM1 or NMZ
75-99: Black Chins MM2 (fastest) or NMZ (budget)
